The affirmative final ruling of the anti-dumping sunset review was made on carbon steel pipe fittings (Spanish: conexiones de acero al carbón para soldar a tope) originating from China, deciding to extend the validity of the existing anti-dumping duty of US$1.05/kg for five years, effective from the day following the publication of the announcement. On April 14, 2003, Mexico initiated an anti-dumping investigation on carbon steel pipe fittings originating from China. On February 2, 2011, Mexico made the first final ruling of anti-dumping sunset review on the Chinese products involved in the case and decided to lower the anti-dumping duty from USD 2.07/kg to USD 1.05/kg, which is valid for 5 years. On July 17, 2019, Mexico initiated the third anti-dumping sunset review investigation into the Chinese products involved in the case. The dumping investigation period of the case is from July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019, and the injury investigation period is from July 1, 2014 to June 30, 2019.
