Cold rolled sheet is a product obtained from hot-rolled sheet by cold pressure processing. Due to multiple cold rolling, its surface quality is better than that of hot rolled sheet, and after heat treatment, good mechanical properties can be obtained.
According to the different needs of manufacturers, the cold rolled sheets are usually divided into: cold rolled sheets for general use, stamping grade cold rolled sheets, deep-drawn, extra deep-drawn and super deep-drawn grade cold rolled sheets, generally delivered in coils and flat sheets, thickness expressed in millimeters, width generally: 1000mm and 1250mm, length generally 2000mm and 2500mm.
Commonly used grades: Q195, Q215, Q235, 08AL, SPCC, SPCD, SPCE, SPCEN, ST12, ST13, ST14, ST15, ST16, DC01, DC03, DC04, DC05, DC06, etc..
ST12: indicated as the most common steel grade, basically the same material as Q195, SPCC and DC01 grades.
ST13/14: indicated as stamping grade steel, basically the same material as 08AL, SPCD, DC03/04.
ST15/16: Stamping grade steel, basically the same as 08AL, SPCE, SPCEN, DC05/06.
For example, ST12 made by Anshan Steel, 1*1250*2500/C, expressed as: grade ST12 ordinary cold plate, thickness of 1mm, width of 1250mm, length of 2500mm or C coil. The appearance of white iron fine packaging, mechanical properties of the most common, the most basic steel grade, can only be used for bending and forming, can not be used for stamping. It is used for mechanical bite, such as the shell of refrigerator, vehicle fuel tank, etc.
The difference between ST12 and SPCC: the mechanical properties of their two products are similar, only the return is different, and the tensile properties of products made of ST12 are relatively stronger than those of SPCC.
SPCC — S means steel (Steel), P means plate (Plate), C means cold (Cold), C means commercial (Commercial), for the Japanese JIS standard.
For tensile strength, add T at the end of the grade for SPCCT. SPCD — indicates cold-rolled carbon steel sheet and strip for stamping, equivalent to China 08AL (13237) high quality carbon structural steel. SPCE — indicates cold-rolled carbon steel sheet and strip for deep drawing, equivalent to China 08AL (5213) deep drawing steel. For non-aging, add N for SPCEN at the end of the grade. cold rolled carbon steel sheet and strip tempering code: A for annealed condition, S for standard tempering, 1/8 hardness for 8, 1/4 hardness for 4, 1/2 hardness for 2, full hardness for 1. surface finish code: D for non-glossy fine rolled, B for bright fine rolled. e.g. SPCC-SD indicates standard tempered, non-glossy fine rolled for general use. Cold-rolled carbon sheet. For example, SPCCT-SB indicates the standard tempering, bright processing, to ensure the mechanical properties of cold-rolled carbon sheet. And then as SPCC-1D said hard lusterless refined cold-rolled carbon steel sheet. Mechanical structural steel grades are expressed as follows: S + carbon content + letter code (C, CK), where the carbon content is expressed in the middle value * 100, the letter C means carbon, the letter K means carburized steel. For example, the carbon content of carbon knotted coil S20C is 0.18-0.23%.
The grades are basically divided into: Q195, Q215, Q235, Q255, Q275, etc. Q indicates the yield point of the steel “yield” the first letter of the Chinese pinyin, 195, 215, etc. indicates the yield value point, from the chemical composition, low carbon steel grades Q195, Q215, Q235, Q255, Q275, the larger the grade, the higher the carbon content, the higher the manganese content, the more stable the plasticity. Q255, Q275, the larger the grade, the higher the carbon content, the higher the manganese content, the more stable the plasticity. Q255, Q275, the larger the grade, the higher the carbon content, the higher the manganese content, the more stable the plasticity.
